The Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Comprehensive Breast Care Program announced today the receipt of a donation in the amount of $2,243.00 from the Enright & Company hair salon.
Through the month of October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Enright staff sold pink hair extensions and nail files to customers coming to their location in the Price Chopper shopping plaza on Canal Street in Brattleboro. Staff members were also encouraged to make contributions in exchange for “casual dress” days, which permitted them to wear jeans and a pink shirt on Fridays or Saturdays during October.
The check was presented to Kelly McCue, nurse navigator for BMH’s Comprehensive Breast Care Program. “This is just one of many times and ways that Enright & Company has aided breast cancer patients in Windham County. We thank the owners, Larry and Linda Enright, and their entire staff for their continued support,” says McCue.
