Mobile Integrated Healthcare
BMH Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine has launched an innovative new partnership with Rescue, Inc, called Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH). 
MIH provides an enhanced level of pre- and post-operative care for rural patients undergoing total shoulder, hip, and knee replacements (TJR). The program is designed to offer a combination of education, practical support, and medical expertise delivered in the home by specially-trained paramedics and advanced EMTs.
Patients can connect to MIH providers by telephone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service includes both scheduled and unscheduled home visits as well as phone calls to assist TJR patients with all their pre- and post-operative needs.
