BMH’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
This is a comprehensive 12-week outpatient program of risk factor modification, education, and exercise that is nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
It is specially designed for people recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery, angioplasty/stenting, or continued angina symptoms. It blends individual exercise, education, and group support into a model approach for regaining health, independence, and help in avoiding future cardiac events. Also offered is an “exercise only” maintenance program for Cardiac Rehabilitation graduates.
BMH’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
This is a comprehensive 10-week outpatient program of education and exercise that is also nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
It is specially designed for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other chronic diseases of the lungs. It blends individual exercise, education, and group support into a model approach for regaining health, independence–and to help avoid hospitalizations. Also offered is an “exercise only” maintenance program for Pulmonary Rehabilitation graduates.
