Emily Martyn, CNM: Emily received her Certificate in Nursing and Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She is board certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Prior to her midwifery education, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. Emily was born at BMH herself and grew up in Brattleboro. She is the mother of two children, both born at BMH. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, long swims in the summer, and snowshoeing in the winter. Her clinical interests include postpartum and lactation care, supporting physiologic birth, and CenteringPregnancy.
